Plant out of Place is the Spring 2019 Brain Washing from Phone Towers Informational Pamphlet, part of a series of three centered on weeds and their travels around the world. It concerns the history of Red Hook, the Brooklyn waterfront neighborhood that was the shipping and industrial center of 19th century New York, the plants that grow there, the people that live there, and how they all ended up together on the waterfront. Is invasiveness really so wrong? How do plants travel around the world? What makes a weed a weed? Printed in an edition of 250 in May of 2019 from metal type and linocuts.
